The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, and enhancing user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on functionality, performance, and security.
- Customize themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of our client, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Implement responsive design to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and accessible on all devices.
- Optimize websites for speed and SEO, utilizing best practices to enhance search engine rankings.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance of WordPress sites, including backups, security checks, and plugin updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and incorporate them into ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
