Responsibilities
  • Design and implement telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP, and PBX systems.
  • Monitor and maintain telecom systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with voice and data communication systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deploy new telecom technologies.
  • Configure and optimize telecom hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide support and training for end-users on telecom systems and devices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in telecom engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in telecom protocols such as SIP, VoIP, and MPLS.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom hardware from major vendors (Cisco, Avaya, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of network integration and telecom security practices.
  • Certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or Avaya certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
