Service Desk Analyst
Description

Tier2Tek Staffing is hiring a Service Desk Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a direct hire position in the technology industry. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for IT support within the organization, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership of the problem until resolved.
  • Document all incidents, resolutions, and updates in the IT service management system.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and IT processes.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring consistent performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in an IT service desk or technical support role.
    • Proficiency with troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certifications (preferred):
    • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
