The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about information security. As a Security Analyst 1, you will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats. You’ll work closely with senior security staff and IT teams to ensure the organization’s systems and data remain secure and compliant with regulatory standards.

Monitor security tools and dashboards to detect suspicious activity and threats.

Analyze and escalate security incidents according to established procedures.

Assist in investigating security breaches and documenting findings.

Conduct vulnerability scans and assist with remediation efforts.

Support compliance efforts related to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other standards.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.

Collaborate with IT teams on system hardening, security patches, and configurations.

Participate in security awareness training and initiatives across the organization.

Help maintain security documentation and incident response plans.

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

0–2 years of experience in information security or a related IT role.

Basic knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability management platforms, and endpoint protection solutions.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GIAC, SSCP).
