We’re hiring a dedicated and detail-focused Party Chief/Rodman to join our professional land surveying team in Sarasota, FL. This position is vital for gathering precise measurements and field data to support the planning and development of successful projects. The right candidate will be proactive, flexible, and capable of performing independently in outdoor environments.

 

Responsibilities
  • Collect accurate field measurements using GPS and other modern surveying tools.
  • Document site conditions clearly through detailed field notes and sketches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and project alignment.
  • Organize and execute daily assignments to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to team success by assisting with other surveying-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Minimum six months of experience working with surveying instruments and data.
  • Physical capability to perform outdoor work in varying weather and terrain conditions.
  • Willingness to commit to extended fieldwork when required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on delivering accurate results.
