We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Party Chief/Rodman to join our land surveying team in Sarasota, FL. This role is essential for gathering precise measurements and field data to support the planning and development of successful projects. Responsibilities
- Use GPS and modern surveying tools to collect precise field measurements.
- Create detailed field notes and sketches to document site conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and project goals are met.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to traffic and safety laws.
- Assist with additional surveying-related tasks as needed to support team success.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least six months of experience with surveying instruments and data.
- Physically capable of working outdoors in diverse weather and terrain conditions.
- Willingness to commit to extended fieldwork when necessary.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
