Our client is seeking a dedicated Field Survey Technician to join their team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves conducting land surveys and gathering precise measurements using advanced GPS and surveying instruments. If you are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Collect field data using GPS and various surveying instruments.
- Create accurate field notes and sketches.
- Collaborate with other departments using advanced technology.
- Prioritize and manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle in compliance with all laws.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with surveying instruments and data processing.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Ability to work independently as a single crew member.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
