We are partnering with a reputable residential surveying company in Houston, TX, to find a motivated and detail-driven AutoCAD Drafter with expertise in plats. This position offers a unique opportunity to create and modify subdivision plats using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all standards.

Responsibilities
- Draft and modify electronic subdivision plat maps using AutoCAD software.
- Convert PDF plats into AutoCAD-ready formats for plot plan drafters within two business days.
- Analyze and translate subdivision maps, documents, and instructions into accurate drafting outputs.
- Conduct research to verify and update plats for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized and compliant records in accordance with company, local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in drafting, with a focus on creating site plans using AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting subdivision plats and related documentation.
- Experience with Carlson software is advantageous.
