Tier2Tek Staffing is partnering with a major client in the Food Manufacturing industry to assist in hiring a Quality Control Technician for a direct hire opportunity. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be a key player in inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and verifying finished products. Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

  • Record and analyze quality control data and report findings to the Quality Manager.

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA, etc.).

  • Identify and report deviations from specifications or quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and quality records.

  • Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment as required.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.

  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to promote a quality-focused culture.

  • Support internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Science or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in quality control, preferably within food manufacturing or a similar industry.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP principles.

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
