Tier2Tek Staffing is partnering with a major client in the Food Manufacturing industry to assist in hiring a Quality Control Technician for a direct hire opportunity. Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

Record and analyze quality control data and report findings to the Quality Manager.

Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA, etc.).

Identify and report deviations from specifications or quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and quality records.

Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment as required.

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to promote a quality-focused culture.

Support internal and external audits as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Science or a related field preferred.

1–3 years of experience in quality control, preferably within food manufacturing or a similar industry.

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP principles.

Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
