Tier2Tek Staffing is seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer for our client in the healthcare technology industry. This is a direct hire position located in Denver, CO. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and architecture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology or experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
