Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Party Chief/Rodman to join our professional land surveying team in Tampa, FL. This field-based role is critical for collecting accurate land measurements, enabling precise project planning and development. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can adapt to challenges and work independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate field data collection using GPS and other surveying instruments.
- Produce detailed field notes and sketches to document field conditions comprehensively.
- Use advanced technology and tools to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and accurate work in the field.
- Safely operate a company vehicle while following local traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the land surveying team.
Qualifications
- alid Florida Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least six months of experience with surveying instruments and data processing.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and traverse diverse terrain.
- Willingness to perform extended fieldwork as necessary.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as a field crew member.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision.
