Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Party Chief/Rodman to join our land surveying team in Tampa, FL. This hands-on, field-based role is essential for gathering precise land measurements to support accurate project planning and development. Ideal candidates are independent problem-solvers with experience in surveying and a commitment to precision.
Responsibilities
- Collect accurate field data using GPS and other surveying instruments.
- Prepare detailed field notes and sketches documenting field conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams using advanced technology and tools.
- Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient field operations.
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to traffic and safety protocols.
- Support the land surveying team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Minimum six months of experience with surveying instruments and data processing.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Willingness to perform extended fieldwork when required.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as part of a field crew.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
