We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Party Chief/Rodman to join our land surveying team in Jacksonville South (Palm Coast), FL. This field-based position is essential for obtaining accurate land measurements, supporting precise planning and successful project execution. The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and capable of working independently in dynamic outdoor environments.

Responsibilities
  • Gather precise field data using GPS and other advanced surveying equipment.
  • Create thorough field notes and sketches to document site conditions accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams using modern technology and tools.
  • Manage and prioritize daily fieldwork to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
  • Assist with additional tasks to support overall team and project objectives.
Qualifications
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • At least six months of hands-on experience with surveying equipment and data processing.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and traverse different terrains.
  • Willingness to conduct extended field assignments as needed.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as a field crew member.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
