Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Party Chief/Rodman to join our land surveying team in Austin, TX. This field-based role is crucial for obtaining precise land measurements and data to support successful project execution. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives in outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Utilize GPS and other surveying tools to perform accurate field measurements.
- Record detailed field notes and sketches to capture site conditions comprehensively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and project accuracy.
- Plan and execute field assignments efficiently to meet project schedules.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety standards.
- Provide additional support to the surveying team as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least six months of experience handling surveying equipment and data.
- Physical capability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Willingness to undertake extended field assignments when needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage field tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
