Tier2Tek Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer for a direct hire position with our esteemed client in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects. Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct tests on prototypes and analyze data to ensure the integrity and reliability of mechanical systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product designers, and project managers, to achieve project goals.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals, to support the development and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues in design and manufacturing, proposing innovative solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), FEA analysis, and knowledge of industry standards.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
