Responsibilities
- Import field data into base drawing files for the Drafting team.
- Create and update base drawing files in AutoCAD with necessary calculations.
- Identify and correct inconsistencies in fieldwork by creating new tasks as needed.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of observations and suggest improvements.
- Analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree or certificate in Land Surveying or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Land Surveying, Field Survey Party Chief, or AutoCAD.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
