As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical assistance, troubleshooting, and IT support to end-users, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the company’s IT infrastructure.

- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Assist in system updates, patches, and security measures.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Support IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and cloud-based systems.
- Document IT procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve efficiency and security measures.
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
