IT Support Specialist
Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting IT-related issues and providing timely resolutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Assist with network administration tasks, including monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Document support requests, issues, and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and support new technologies.
  • Educate users on best practices for security and software usage.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and backups.
  • Manage and support office peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Support remote users and ensure connectivity for off-site teams.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with IT service management tools (ticketing systems).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical users.
  • Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and remote desktop tools is preferred.
