We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our client’s team in Denver, Colorado. This direct hire position in the financial services industry offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will provide essential IT support to ensure seamless operation of critical systems that drive our client’s financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for IT support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems critical to financial operations.
  • Conduct system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Manage software installations, configurations, and updates to meet compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and support guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, especially those relevant to financial services IT compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with network management and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+/Network+, or relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
