As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex automated equipment at customer sites. You’ll work directly with clients to provide technical support, training, and system upgrades. - Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial automation systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Provide training and technical support to customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for all site visits.
- Manage scheduling and communication with clients to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the region (up to 50% travel).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and control panels.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Experience with PLCs or robotics is a plus.
