As a vital member of our client's technology team, the Endpoint Automation Engineer will specialize in streamlining and automating endpoint management processes, enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and security of technology resources across the enterprise.
This position requires a dynamic professional who is passionate about automation, possesses strong technical expertise, and is committed to delivering seamless technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to identify areas for automation and develop scripts, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and optimized endpoint management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and workflows for endpoint management, including patching, software deployments, and compliance enforcement.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint automation issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Monitor endpoint automation systems and analyze logs to proactively identify and remediate issues.
- Manage and optimize automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, and other relevant endpoint management technologies.
- Document automation processes, providing comprehensive guidelines and training for IT staff and relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously research and recommend improvements and innovations in endpoint automation technologies and processes.
- Ensure all endpoint management activities adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in endpoint automation or related roles.
- Proficient with automation scripting tools and languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools such as SCCM, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
