Tier2Tek Staffing is hiring a Desktop Support Specialist on behalf of our client in Denver, CO. This is a direct hire position for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and network connectivity problems.
  • Perform system upgrades and software installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and solutions provided.
  • Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and disposal.
  • Provide remote support to users in off-site locations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve system performance and security.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
  • Train users on new systems and software as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
