Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and networking equipment.
  • Monitor data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on data center equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity problems.
  • Manage and document data center assets, including inventory and equipment locations.
  • Collaborate with network and systems engineers to support infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with data center policies and security protocols.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data center operations or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with server hardware, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with data center best practices, including cable management and airflow optimization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
