In this role, the Cybersecurity Risk Analyst will play a vital part in assessing security risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of risk management frameworks, threat modeling, and data protection practices. - Conduct regular risk assessments on IT systems, applications, and third-party vendors.
- Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts related to cybersecurity incidents.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in line with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate risk management practices.
- Monitor compliance with internal security policies, standards, and external regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
- Assist in preparing audit and assessment reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in incident response planning and tabletop exercises.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk analysis, or information security.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, ISO 27005, FAIR).
- Strong knowledge of security controls, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with tools such as GRC platforms, SIEM systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM are highly desirable.
