As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events across the organization’s IT landscape. You will collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to ensure systems and data are protected in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with security tools, threat detection, and vulnerability management, and is eager to grow within a mission-driven team.

Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, threats, and anomalies using SIEM and other monitoring tools.

Analyze and investigate security incidents and escalate as necessary.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams.

Maintain and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Assist with compliance efforts related to HIPAA, NIST, and other frameworks.

Perform regular audits and assessments of systems to ensure security controls are effective.

Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to manage risk.

Support penetration testing efforts and interpret results for actionable improvements.

Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.

Experience with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus platforms.

Understanding of network protocols, authentication, and encryption technologies.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, especially HIPAA, is a plus.

Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar) are preferred.
