Tier2Tek Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer for a direct hire position with our esteemed client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development, project management, and site design. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and Planning: Develop and review civil engineering plans and designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other public works.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Site Analysis: Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to evaluate the suitability of proposed construction sites.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all engineering projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate civil engineering solutions into broader project plans.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues during the project lifecycle and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and public works projects.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas is required.
- Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
