CAD Drafter - Electrical Drawings (Part-Time)
Description
Our client is seeking a Temporary Part-Time CAD Drafter to support their electrical project designs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AutoCAD and electrical drawings, with strong attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and within a team. This is a temporary position, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD to create, modify, and update electrical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, collaborating with engineers to resolve design issues.
- Prepare detailed electrical system drawings in line with industry standards and CA Title 24.
- Manage and organize project files, performing quality checks to ensure precision in all drafts.
- Communicate with team members to meet project timelines and ensure compliance with company and client standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience with AutoCAD or electrical drafting is preferred.
- Education: AutoCAD certification is a plus but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of CA Title 24 is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
- Wednesday to Friday: Full days (8 hours) or
- Wednesday and Thursday: Full days (9 hours) + Friday: Half day (4 hours).
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension.
Job Benefits
- Sick Leave: 48 hours of sick leave annually, prorated depending on the start date.
- Vacation: 1.54 hours accrued every two weeks after 3 months of employment.
- Payroll: Bi-weekly.
